Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use the scientific functions?
Type a number, then press the function button. For example: type 45, press sin to get sin(45°). For powers, type the base, press x^y, type the exponent, then press =. Parentheses ( and ) can be used to group expressions.
Does this calculator use degrees or radians?
This calculator uses degrees for trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan), which is the standard for most school and general use. Toggle DEG/RAD to switch modes.
What does the ANS button do?
ANS inserts the result of the previous calculation into the current expression. For example, after calculating 25, pressing ANS × 4 = gives 100.
How is this calculator useful for Nigerian students?
This scientific calculator covers all functions tested in WAEC, NECO, and JAMB mathematics exams, including trigonometry, logarithms, powers, and roots — eliminating the need for a physical calculator.
What should I do if I see an error?
Press C (Clear) to reset the calculator. Errors occur when attempting invalid operations such as square root of a negative number, division by zero, or tangent of 90 degrees.
